I always knew from a young age that I wanted to work with animals, I’ve been around dogs, cats, horses all my life. When I was a teenager I spent the majority of my time working on a horse ranch where I helped train and show Arabians being around horses was always a big passion of mine, but I knew I wasn’t going to make a career out of it. I was lucky enough to have a grandma that owned a dog grooming business and I was able to learn how to groom myself at a very young age.  After grooming for many years I knew it wasn’t what I wanted to do for the rest of my life. I wanted to follow my dream of working in the vet field, and at the age of 22 I applied for my first hospital and got a job as a kennel assistant where I learned a lot and I worked my way up from there. Helping animals is my life and I can’t imagine doing anything else.
