Andrea Arias, DVM

Andrea Arias, DVM

Dr. Arias grew up with a deep love for all animals and knew that she wanted to help them in any way possible once she became older. As a result, she moved from Southern California to UC Davis to pursue a bachelor’s degree in Animal Science. During her spare time she would work in a veterinary clinic as a veterinary assistant or take volunteer trips to developing countries to help with animal care there. Following graduation, she moved back to southern California to obtain her doctorate in veterinary medicine at Western University of Health Sciences. After graduation, she once again returned to the Sacramento area and has been working as a full veterinarian ever since.

Her clinical interests include surgery, dermatology, and dentistry. Aside from that, she shares a home with her fiancé, golden retriever dog, and two tabby cats. In her free time, she love traveling, concerts, and spending time with friends and family.

Dr. Morris grew up in Los Angeles where she discovered her love for animals after getting her first dog at 8 years old. She earned her B.S. in Animal Science at UC Davis in 2015, and continued on to graduate from the UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine in 2019. After living in Davis for 8 years, Dr. Morris fell in love with the Sacramento area and decided to stick around.

Dr. Morris has a passion for the human-animal bond, and works hard to foster that bond between her clients and patients. She has been a Fear Free Certified Practitioner since 2019, and works closely with her clients to keep her patients stress and anxiety free during their check-ups. Otherwise, Dr. Morris loves radiology, surgery, dentistry, nutrition, dermatology, oncology, and anything that involves using a microscope!

Outside of the veterinary world, Dr. Morris enjoys playing volleyball, backpacking and hiking, tending to her succulent garden, singing and karaoke, going to concerts, and her hobby of making hand-made wire jewelry. She spends the rest of her time with her fiance Tom, their sweet dog, Ellie, and two kitties, Shasta and Puff.
